Abstract

UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- A decade of downsizing and cut-throat strategies in the business world may have made proper social behavior seem less important as a necessary technical skill. However, in light of productivity and profit, there is renewed interest that good manners (or the lack of them) can make a difference, says Dr. Bobbie Krapels, assistant professor of management in The University of Mississippi School of Business Administration.
