Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on and honor the contributions of African Americans. According to Dr. James F. Payne, director of Afro-American Studies and associate professor of history at The University of Mississippi, this recognition can take many forms and need not be tedious or repetitive.
