Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- For the student considering a career in the military, a chance to "test the waters before taking the plunge" can be both valuable and fun. For the parents who wonder if their child's military interest is rock-solid or simply a passing whim, a chance to gain commitment-free exposure to military life can be a relief.
