Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- It seems that in the last few months, prognosticators have been working themselves into a frenzy trying to predict what will happen on Jan. 1, 2000. Will Y2K cause disaster, leaving us without the basics of food, water, electricity and even more importantly, cable television?
