Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Dr. Robert Khayat, chancellor of The University of Mississippi, has been elected chairman of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) for the year 2000. As chairman, Khayat will lead the Commission through the coming year's accreditation activities.
