Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- The pharmaceutical industry faces enormous challenges in the forms of competition, new drug development and societal demands, but multibillion-dollar mergers among major firms will not solve these problems, one of the industry's most respected watchers said Wednesday at The University of Mississippi.
