Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Mention the U.S. Army's Patriot missile defense to many Americans and success in the Gulf War springs to mind. What most people don't realize is that operating such mobile radar systems is an awesome task. Transportation, for example, requires three 18-wheelers.
