Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Teachers, mentors and friends are important to us all. Small and extraordinary acts of kindness become pivotal moments, especially for students, in determining place and purpose in life. Too often, generous feats of uncommon decency go unrecorded -- but not at The University of Mississippi (UM).
