Abstract

UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Natchez, Miss., native and internationally renowned African-American novelist Richard Wright -- whose unyielding depictions of black life in Native Son and Black Boy have been credited with "forever changing American culture" -- is paid a tribute in the Eighth Annual Oxford Conference for the Book March 30-April 1 at The University of Mississippi (UM).
