UNIVERSITY, Miss. --Matt Reynolds, an anthropology graduate student at The University of Mississippi (UM), clutched his right hand gingerly around the magnetic device and wielded it like a metal detector. He levitated it over a 20-meter section of the still grounds at the university's 139-year-old Confederate Cemetery.
