Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- The Southern food-laden table always has been a way for those below the Mason-Dixon Line to connect with their agrarian past. Now the link between agriculture and the cuisine concocted from its products is celebrated at the fourth annual Southern Foodways Symposium at The University of Mississippi (UM).
