Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- When a Chicago manufacturer developed a new additive for polymeric composites earlier this year, the firm sent its engineers to The University of Mississippi (UM) to analyze how well the compound performs. It's a scenario that is repeated dozens of times a year for the UM's Composite Materials Research Group.
