UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Wendy Kopp, founder and president of Teach for America, a nationally-recognized teacher recruitment and placement program which in 1993 helped relieve dire teacher shortages in the Mississippi Delta, examines the program's evolution at The University of Mississippi (UM) Sept. 14.
