Abstract

UNIVERSITY, Miss. - Winding up a winning season, two University of Mississippi (UM) football standouts -- quarterback Eli Manning and offensive tackle Terrence Metcalf -- have been well-recognized for their achievements. Manning topped a record-breaking year by winning the Conerly Trophy, the Magnolia State's top college football award. Metcalf was named to the 2001 Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America squad.
