Abstract

UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- To eliminate a player in a game of paintball, the mark must be the size of a U.S. quarter. Anything less is termed "splatter." Even though The University of Mississippi (UM) paintball team lost its first ever Painted Egg Bowl against Mississippi State in November, it's just a splatter -- they're still in the game as one of four teams world wide selected from thousands to compete in the 2002 Staying Power Contest.
