Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Lloyd Caldwell, a University of Mississippi assistant professor of acting/voice, doesn't talk much about his 10-year career in the U.S. Army. But on Sept. 11, just hours after the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington -- and after learning that two of his former colleagues were among those who died in the Pentagon -- the shocked faces of many on the Oxford campus, especially his students, were enough to prompt him to reveal his secret on a day that was anything but ordinary.
