Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. - Change came to the South's Native Americans after Europeans arrived. A new book, "The Transformation of the Southeastern Indians, ," co-edited by Dr. Robbie Ethridge, University of Mississippi (UM) McMullan Assistant Professor of Southern Studies and assistant professor of anthropology, helps to decipher mysteries of what happened when the societies collided.
