Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. - Mothers once were blamed for their children's autism. "Even professionals thought that autism was a social problem," said Stephanie Joyce, a clinical instructor in the University of Mississippi's Department of Communicative Disorders which hosts a conference Sept. 12-13 dedicated to autism research and treatments.
