The University of Mississippi Recreation Management Department has partnered with the Ambucs organization to benefit veterans with disabilities. On September 10, 2015, members of the UM community came together to race an AmTryke (adaptive tricycle) around The Circle, competing to complete 75 laps in the fastest time. The race raised money to benefit veterans with disabilities. Veterans were given the AmTrykes used in the race. Our goal is to provide as many veterans as we can with independence and mobility. To do this, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Every dollar counts! For every $1,000 we collect for the AmTrykes in Action fundraiser, we are able to provide one veteran with an AmTryke.
