Artificial Streams

UM researchers Scott Knight and Rich Lizotte have started a new research project at the Ole Miss Field Station that involves building artificial streams to simulate Delta wetlands. Couple Finds Edward Hopper Sketch

Noel & Betty Watts discovered a signed Edward Hopper etching hidden behind a cheap print after 40 years in the couple's home and attic. After a careful and thorough examination following established procedures for art appraisal, University Museums director William Andrews began to believe that it was possible that it was an original Hopper etching. Ole Miss senior Emilie Dayan talks about the week she recently spent in Dresden, Germany thanks to the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.
