Abstract

The Center for the Study of Southern Culture brings you Conversations on Southern Culture. This video features an interview by Charles Reagan Wilson of Bishop Duncan M. Gray, Jr. about his time as priest at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Oxford, Mississippi. Particularly featured is Gray's experience with the 1962 riot on campus concerning James Meredith's entrance to the University of Mississippi.
