Orleans March 10th Dear Ma I received the nice candy by Mrs. Sellar. She has removed from Mrs. Lees. I wrot to Pa by MR. Killeen and also sent the bonet which I hope you received. Dr. tried to tease me about that home-sick letter I wrote you. I have not seen Uncle for towe or three days the last time I saw him he was well he said the day before that coz Mollie was bery sick had convulsions. We will have examinations Monday I think I can [illegible word] it tell me in your next letter if you can read my letters. I hope there is some improvement on the first tell me all about home. I saw in the paper that Mrs. Hays an Mr [Elbert] an [Klimpeter] was here. the sunny south is port I have not seen [illegible words] Mollie and Kate Annie and myself are going to the Great southern circus to day as to day is Saturday there seems to be as much busyness done in our Great Metroples as ever I am not going to write any more home sick letters unless I can get them in without anybody seeing them. I wish you could be here to go to [Boudras Vincents] old [illegible word] to get some nice Ice Cream. I hope well I hope you all are well when you see Bob [Bugly] tell him to write to me give my love to all and take plenty for yourself. Make Jack take good care of old Prince have him in good trim for me for after seeing so many fine horses. I won�t ride any other kind. I must close Good by your affectionate Son Fred R. Bernard Note Kate and Mollie Miss Lee send love. Miss [Yabither] an her [illegible words] are in the city. Mrs [Wadebill] is going to see to day F.R.B.
