Abstract
A growing number of faculty/graduate student instructors at the University of Mississippi are engaging in what’s known as the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), sometimes called “teaching as research.” SoTL begins with the belief that our work as educators merits rigorous study and analysis, just as our disciplinary-based research questions do. In this workshop, you’ll learn more about SoTL, including exploring examples of SoTL projects and generating interesting-to-you research questions about your teaching. Cookies and coffee available.
