Abstract
These are turbulent times for higher education, and the world outside the classroom affects how we teach, and how our students learn, inside the classroom. Instructors from a variety of disciplines are carefully considering how current events may impact their pedagogical choices. In this session, CETL will facilitate a community conversation about instructors’ concerns and ways the teaching center, and the university more broadly, might best support them. We plan to share our findings with the university community and use them to inform CETL’s own efforts in the coming months. Come to voice your concerns and dialogue with colleagues about the challenges of teaching during turbulent times. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.
