The old Shegog Manse House, now Rowan Oak. Typed below photograph: The Old Shegog Manse, built in 1848, Was Purchased by William Faulkner (with one of his very first Hollywood checks) and remodeled in 1930, he resided there until his death July 6/1962, his funeral services were held in the huge parlor [More text follows].
