Abstract

POV: is a short documentary exploring the search for connection, routine, and joy in increasingly virtual spaces. This film displays how real and digital spaces converge, diverge, and offer new avenues through which to interact with each other and ourselves.

Catherine Jessee is a first year MA student in Southern Studies. With a focus on Appalachian history, she is interested in food systems, folklore, and social movement in the South. She holds a BA in American Studies and English from the University of Virginia.
