Abstract
This is a collection of original poetry which draws on the mythology of the Babel of Tower as a framework for how human language alienates, displaces, and also engenders connection. The collection is viscerally undergirded by the impulse of love and the tragedy of loss; and ambitiously takes on the larger questions of human labor, capitalism, migration and human civilization.
