Abstract
The following poems engage with themes of placemaking in the twenty-first century. A critical introduction centers the accompanying poems within a developing tradition of poetry in the twenty-first century that challenge common conceptions of home, romantic relationships, and transience. Other topics approached in the poems include adolescence, the environment, sport, and friendship.
