Description
Mr. McCrady of La-fay-ette County, an exhibition of paintings and drawings of Oxford and Lafayette County landscapes and buildings by John McCrady (1911-1968), the best known of Southern Regionalist painters, will be presented at the University Museums from July 23 through September 20. On Sunday, July 27, at 1:00 p.m., there will be a reception for conference participants, members of Friends of the Museums, and invited guests, followed by a reception for the general public at 2:00 p.m. The artist’s widow, Mary McCrady, will be present at the opening reception.
