Description
The buzzard is the symbol of Greenfield Farm. In The Paris Review, Faulkner said that he admired the birds so much that he hoped to return as one if reincarnated. Over the year I photographed Greenfield Farm, I came to think of the birds, bugs, flowers, plants, trees, even the light, as spiritual forces. I captured them in a tender window of time. This informed how I viewed my work at the farm. I felt lucky to get to know a place that was about to become another place. It made my time there matter.
