Thad Lee, is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and photographer. He studied English and Philosophy at the University of Mississippi and earned an MFA in Screenwriting from the University of New Orleans.

His photography explores abstract patterns in nature, including his Murmurations series and experimental Moon Paintings created with long-exposure light techniques. He received a 2021 Artist Fellowship from the Mississippi Arts Commission and has exhibited widely. He lives in Oxford, Mississippi with his wife and son.
