Television program "Press Conference" with host Martha Rountree and guest U.S. Senator James O. Eastland. Eastland responds to questions from journalists on the civil rights bill; cloture vote in the Senate; Hells Canyon dam; double jeopardy; race relations in the South; the U.S. Supreme Court; African American voters; soldiers' rights; conviction of communists; possibility of Eastland voting for John F. Kennedy as president; publication of secret documents; and realignment of political parties.
