The Radon-Nikodym Property for the Projective Tensor Product of Köthe Function Spaces

Abstract

Let �� be an order-continuous Köthe function space and �� be a Banach space. We first show that �� ⊗̂ �� , the projective tensor product of �� and ��, semi-embeds into ��(��*), the Köthe-Bochner function space. Then, by this, we show that �� ⊗̂ ��* has the Radon-Nikodym property if and only if both �� and ��* do. This is joint work with Dr. Pei Kee Lin.
