Abstract

Euclidean Ramsey theory concerns Ramsey-type problems over Euclidean spaces. In this talk, I will discuss a general framework on how to design algorithms to construct colorings avoiding short monochromatic arithmetic progressions in Euclidean Ramsey theory using some simple geometry and number theory. Joint work with Gabriel Currier and Kenneth Moore.
