Abstract

The actors of a social network can be grouped into a liations. These a liations could be interests, labels, or organizations that the actors share. Naturally, a bipartite graph can be constructed to represent the membership relationship between the actors and the a liations. These bipartite graphs are know as a liation networks. I will discuss the basics of a liation networks and how they maybe used to model social networks.
