Through the Robert Smith, MD Scholarship, I gained invaluable training and mentorship at UMMC-GTEC, enhancing my research skills and professional development. This opportunity enabled me to join the Society for Epidemiologic Research (SER) and the American Heart Association (AHA), attend the AHA EPI/Lifestyle Scientific Sessions 2025 in New Orleans, LA, and the opportunity to present my research at the SER Annual Meeting in Boston, MA.
