Abstract

Using sociolinguistic interviews, Fafulas and Van Hoose talk about their ongoing research that compares first and second generation speakers of Spanish (Latinx), in both Eastern North Carolina and and Northern Mississippi, two different regions within the new destination communities of the U.S. South.
