Lyrics
Lyrics:
First verse
Let us sail in a dream, down a bright golden stream, To a beautiful rose covered Isle. And with hearts both in tune, by a crystal lagoon We will dwell neath the rose for a while.
Refrain
Love and roses, dreams and you Bring me thoughts of an Island of Roses in the sparkling dew There the red rose, twining, falls from above. It is your land and my land, A beautiful Island of roses, of roses and love, On the Island of Roses and love.
Second verse
In the rose tinted strand, of this wonderful land, We will list to the song of the dove; And mid roses in bloom, with their dainty perfume, We will dream by the roses and love.
(Refrain)
