Archives and Special Collections Exhibits
The Department of Archives and Special Collections has several display cases on the 3rd floor of the J. D. Williams Library, each devoted to the strengths of the collection: Blues Archive, Modern Political Archives, University Archives, Visual Collections, and General Special Collections, which includes Mississippiana. Occasionally, departmental collections are used in the 2nd floor exhibit cases. There are additional display cases in the Faulkner Room, where exhibits generally last for a calendar year, and the Seymour Lawrence Room, which has permanent displays from the Lawrence Collection.
