Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. – Maverick country singer/songwriter Merle Haggard performs a June 1 concert at the University of Mississippi's new Ford Center for the Performing Arts. Haggard presents some of his most memorable songs in a 2:30 p.m. public program in the center's main hall on University Avenue. Another artist, billed as a "very special guest," is slated to join Haggard on stage.
