Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- The latest round of economic reports clearly indicates a slowdown in the U.S. economy, and consumer confidence continues to decline as a result. It is a one-two punch that points to recession, said University of Mississippi (UM) economist William Shughart.
