U.S. Representative Jamie Whitten discusses communications with Secretary of Agriculture Ezra T. Benson regarding problems in the cotton and cattle industry. Includes discussion of cuts in cotton acreage; utilizing a state of national emergency to increase the cotton supply; distribution of cotton acreage; price supports for cattle; and distribution of cattle feed. After Whitten, another recording of a religious program begins on being thankful.
