Abstract
The Academic Innovations Group invites you to join the 2025 Winter AI Institute for Teachers: January 13-15, 2025. 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. each day in the Duff Center for Science and Technology Innovation. The AI Institute is designed to prepare instructors at many different levels for teaching in the age of AI. It will take place over three days: January 13, AI Literacy Basics: For educators seeking foundational understanding of AI to minimize disruption, establish ethical usage guidelines, and develop basic AI curriculum. January 14, Applying AI Assistance: For educators with basic AI literacy seeking to leverage AI for instructional design and pragmatic use cases to augment existing skills. January 15, Advanced AI Frontiers: This advanced session is built for those who would like to go beyond ChatGPT and start exploring the possibilities for advanced use cases for AI in education. Lunch will be provided for registered participants. When registering, participants will select which day(s) they plan to attend.
