Abstract
Research in affective neuroscience shows that emotions are a power tool in our teaching toolkit to ignite motivation, drive engagement, and deepen learning in every class. We’ll examine the research as it relates to teaching and learning, then explore practical strategies for every class, discipline, and modality. Putting emotion science to work enables us to facilitate authentic learning, even—or especially—in an AI age.
