Abstract
This qualitative study explores the experiences of academic administrators during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the impact of institutional racism on their professional lives. The study specifically investigates the challenges faced by administrators from diverse racial backgrounds in navigating institutional responses to the crisis. The research aims to develop a comprehensive plan that can be implemented at the local level in educational institutions and subsequently modeled and implemented nationally, a plan that can uphold sustainable structures, processes, and best practices for administrators during crises.
