In The Thick of Things: Exploring School Counselor's Roles and Response to Intervention

Abstract

Qualitative inquiry is utilized within this study to explore how current school counselors describe their involvement within the Response to Intervention (RtI) model. Further, this study discusses how school counselors utilize their roles in RtI and incorporate the model within their comprehensive school counseling program. Themes are presented and discussed, as they relate to school counselors involvement inside the Response to Intervention model.
