Abstract

Achemical index is a map from the set of chemical compounds to the real numbers. There are many kinds of indices in existing literature. Randi´c index, also called connectivity index (proposed in 1975), is one of the important molecular graph-based structure-descriptors used in the theory of QSAR (quantitative structure-activity relationship). In this talk, we will survey the results on trees with maximum general Randi´c index. Some unsolved problems will also be presented. This is a continuation of my last talk.
