Description

Radio programs: In the first brief excerpt, several unidentified individuals discuss African American maids. The second radio editorial focuses on upcoming Nixon administration's promises regarding the improvement of black private enterprise in order to get people off of welfare. After a florist commercial, the program continues with a profile of the anti-intellectual in communist countries such as China. Finally, the recording ends with "Meet the Member" with a profile on Jamie Whitten, describing his background in public service, his current role in Congress, and his stance on several issues.
